Utility: Consumers in Michigan may choose their natural gas supplier.
Michigan Electric Choice: Yes. Consumers in Michigan may choose their electric supplier. Customers who choose an alternate supplier still receive a bill from the local distribution company ( LDC ) and may select from consolidated or dual billing packages.
Michigan Gas Choice: YES. Natural gas is deregulated in Michigan for select Natural gas residential or business customers of Michigan Gas Utilities – MGU, Consumers Energy Company, DTE Gas Company and SEMCO Energy Gas Company (SEMCO), delivery service will still be provided by local utilities.
